Drinking on his own

When should I stop feeding from the CC syringe and let Nugget drink his formula himself? He's about 12 weeks now. He drinks water fine...should we be letting him "drink" his formula?

:rotfl Only if you are prepared to give them a bath after each feeding. Truely, they tend to wear more of it than they eat making it impossible to control or monitor how much they are getting. I would only do this if they were eating solids, drinking water and were weaning. I would suggest using a shallow bowl and not the water bottle as the bottle spout is nearly impossible to completely clean.
