sneezing and runny nose

Eight week old male squirrel (grey) is sneezing and has runny nose. Any help is appreciated. Has a crooked left upper tooth. Could this be the problem. If so, can it be fixed by trimming his tooth?:thankyou

If the crooked tooth is upper it's not likely at 8 weeks old that that is causing the problem. I'd be more worried about an upper respiratory infection, and put him on Sulfatrim or Baytril for about 7 days.

About the tooth: is it congenitally crooked -- always looked like that since it came in, or did it happen in an accident? It would be wise to trim it, if possible, so that it can grind against the lower tooth and not become overgrown. Sometimes a malocclusion like this can be outgrown....sometimes not, and if not this is a pretty bad situation.

how much can i give him? Should I grind up and put in with the formula? I saw online where it comes in different miligrams. Can this be purchased from a Pet Supply store or strickly from a Vet.:thankyou
