Hi, she is not complete babe...the tail started getting fluffy, and small teeth are showing up...but still not grown up...grey squirrel...

seems like nose is congested or something...all the time making noise as if trying to breathe...maybe it is cold?

Thank you for reply!
I thought there is no one in Montreal...

Can I take her to some other FEEDING squirrels in the park, will she be taken care of?

I have pm'ed someone near you...
can you keep her safe and warm?
Please put her in tshirt in a box, half on a heating pad set on low...
if you can make a rice buddy, a sock filled with rice and microwaved for 20-60 seconds...she will snuggle up and feel secure.
Please also keep her in a quiet dark room with no other pets and away from loud and frightening noises.
Can you describe her breathing better and be my eyes...
I am going to ask alot of questions to help the rehabber s know what your situation is...
also...do you know how to do the [pinch test to see if she is dehydrated?
gently pinch the skin between her shoulder blades, if it stays tented...we will need to rehydrate her after shge is warm...no formula until she is rehydrated.
brb!
I type slow and bad...eek!

Definitely, she is safe and warm and in a nice towel...:-)
Yes, when we found her yesterday, her skin was stiff, now she seems fine...we found her yesterday...we are feeding with Cat milk solution, that is what I read on the internet to give...

She seems to have difficulty with breathing, as if her nose is congested...

Thanks again!

Please do not give cat formula...
let's switch to hydration formula for now...
1 quart warm water
1 teaspoon table salt
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
mix well and store in fridge for no more than 72 hours.
Ok...what are you feeding her with?
a 1cc needleless syringe is best.Describe her breathing please...
are you hearing clicking with Every breath?
have you seen milk come up her nose?
if this happens, tip her nose to floor and let fluid drain...
always hold baby upright when feeding, never tilted back...
can we get a pic posted?ty!

are you saying her skin does NOT tent...it relaxes and goes back into place smoothly?

HI there:)
Thanks for saving this baby, I'm a member in montreal, I don't get to come on SB much anymore but I got Jackies Pm. I would would be able to help (as much as I can) unless another member here can or has already come to the rescue! What area of Montreal are you in? I work for an animal clinic and would be able to get this baby checked and meds if needed. Please let me know If I can help in any way.
We do sometimes give our babies to the rehabber mentioned just for release but not unweaned babies as she is not the "best rehabber" but pretty much the only certified one in montreal.:shakehead and she does not return phone calls.
