Does anybody know the symptoms for heat stroke in squirrels? If so could we have a section for that in here too?

All of My guys are fine. My friend's boyfriend had found a baby squirrel while cycling to work. It has been pretty hot here lately. I went to pick it up. It was burning up. Ears and body were high in temperature. Rehydrated him. He had a nose injury too. He had breathing issues. He died the same night. I was just curious about what the complete signs for heat stroke are.
