are oranges safe for my squirrels to eat?
i'm not too sure, because my rat cannot eat oranges (or anything else citrus), they are toxic to male rats. and i don't think female rats should have them either. apparently they have a component in them that causes cancer in male rats. there could be other underlying things that makes it so they cannot have them also.
so, since a squirrel is pretty much just a rat with a furry tail...
is it safe for my squirrels to eat oranges?

Oranges are just fine for squirrels....in fact, mine love them.
I just cut a chunk out, remove the rind & seed.

Just keep in mind the high sugar content of oranges. Squirrel cannot have a bunch of sugar. I know its natural.

Try watermelon & blueberries.
My kids love those & they have a small percent of calcium. :D
