My chipmunk Kancho who is about 8 months old (I think) is having serious problems with biting. She's acting aggressive or anything but she would come casually toward my feet, bite my ankle or my toe (sometimes the skin on the top of my feet). If I move my feet away, she will chase after it and try to jump on them for more bites.
It hurts a lot so when that happens, I shake her off on the ground which does not help at all since she jumps again to bite.
Kancho's not in heat at all, never in her life has she chirped like a machine gun.
Is there anyway I can solve this?

wish I could help, but I am unfamiliar with chippie behavior.
Hoping some of the chip members will have ideas!
good luck:Love_Icon

Hi Indyfan, she is abit to young to be in heat, not until 10 months old at least. I wish i could give you some advice but i've only had a couple of biting problems. My Hazel R.I.P. did like to bite toes she didn't bite anything else but i just made sure i was wearing slippers when i had her running around the room. One time i got a vicious attack from my male Bailey, long story but i have two males who don't like each other and are in separate aviaries but if Bailey gets anywhere near Asriel he will turn aggressive and try and bite and scratch. So its not really resolved i just have to keep the boys apart.

I think chipmunkluver is having a similar problem with her Luci biting, maybe you could ask her if she has any ideas. Sorry i can't help more. Good luck.
