today i brought in one of the sunflowers that i planted a few days ago to take pictures of and ahrlan was like ooooh whats that and he ran up to it and snatched it away. i tried to get it back but he stuffed it in his cheek pouch.
now he is camped out on top of his tree eating it. is this bad for him?

I've seen my wilds eat then at any stage...I had several but only 3 or 4 made it to almost maturity...then one morning I looked and one of the flowers had been bitten off and was missing..the next day another flower and so on..I finally caught sight of the culprits...they seem to really love the seeds when they are white....probably before the hard shell appears....but they went through them fast....the ones that didn't flower, were eaten while still in the growing process...

Since it is a sunflower sprout I wouldn't worry. I'm not certain but I don't think there are issues in eating germinated seeds..
I guess Ahrlan is too cool for house rules. :D He's a little party on wheels.
