my friend says the momma is hovering near. He is with squirrel in yard, trying to check for injuries. :( I don't know what to tell him to do.

the momma will not help him if he's bad...she'll save her others or herself..
I have nevber seen/heard a momma take back a dying or badly injured???
he needs to get the baby...if it is minor wounds...put it back near mothers location and stay near, but outta sight

the guy is hiding and waiting. he says the baby is not acting hurt but the mom is not coming near. I messaged him the center's number.
He is supposed to let me know something in a few minutes. I will ask him if he wants PBJ to call if yout think that would help?

sometimes even non bleeding wounds are the worst ones...deep punctures often do not appear to be bad, but can kill:shakehead
if momma is not taking it, give her some time...but watch sq action carefully...she may be watching to see if the 'coast is clear':dono
she may not take him at all!
