I know the high pitch nose squeal of a distressed baby but would that squeal be a constant squeal if a baby is in trouble. Knothead would only squeal once or twice and that would be in a couple minutes interval. On my break at work I hear what sounds like a baby squirrel but I can't be sure.

i have found several baby sqs because of the high pitch cry...also rescued adults from cats after tracking that sound...
.
i just released echo, a sq that i had rescued from my sons backyard...i kept hearing him, but couldn't find where and what...finally drove the 40 miles home only to pull in the driveway, he had been found and i needed to go back and get him:sanp3 ....
the name echo came from my sons lawnmower...somehow my son managed to miss the little monkey....
now he's fat and happy and in the trees...:Love_Icon
good luck!

If you are near alot of buildings be carefull. As the noise bounces eveywhere. Good luck and I hope you find it.

I walked all around the building and could not find a thing. The squealing has stopped. I've instructed the girls in the Drive Thru to keep the speakers on and let me know if they hear anything.
