MonkeyButt is about 7.5 weeks old. I can see what looks like the tips of some top teeth. I have been seeing this for a while. How long does it take or the top teeth to come in? At what age are they usually in?

I see him kind of what looks like he is rubbing his bottom teeth along the top gums. Is he teething? Or is that just something squirrels do?

Thanks,

Michele in Tampa

Hi Michelle....That is something Squirrels do Knot head still does that. Monkeybutt needs some rocks or tree limbs to help him along with this process.

What size rocks? Small enough for him to hold but big enough that he can't get stuck in his mouth?

And when the top teeth come in (5-6 weeks upper), how much of them will I be seeing? Are there pictures anywhere of what they should look like at this time and how they look like when they are fully in? How long do they get? All I see are just the tippy points. Is there more behind that big gummy area?

Thanks,

even in an adult, top teeth a short...but the bottom teeth are very long...they can move on their own independantly, they can tip forward and back and also side to side, they can open up to a v shape , like your fingers when you sign peace.
yes somewhere there is a pic of sq teeth...found it!
