I'm hoping to adopt a southern flying squirrel from Helen's little critters. New pups are available in Oct. Ive been gathering all the info i can & plan to be fully prepared for when I get my baby! Ive read many threads on all your beautiful squirrels & have learned a lot...thank you! I am still a little afraid, especially after reading of the precious babies that have not made it.

Any advice will always be appreciated!!!

Helens is Great Bruce was born there. Dont be too scared. There are alot of posters both rehabers and owners alike. The rehabbers have a sad job and alot of what they see does end in tragedy, owners see tragedy as well but I dont think its on the same level with the rehabbers lovingly deal with "bless them all".

There is tons and tons and tons of info here. So read, heed and learn and rest assured that there is a whole community here ready and willing to help you should the need arise. They answer questions give advice and just plain want to get to know you and your little friend..
