My neighbors stopped by Friday night with a bunch of food - they are off for 2 weeks in the Carribbean (I HATE THEM) and emptied their fridge into mine... One of the items was a loaf of honey wheat bread. I am VERY small of stature (runt) and 5 extra pounds on my frame looks like 20 on a normal human, so I have cut almost all simple carbs from my diet so I don't become as wide as I am tall...so honey wheat bread is NOT on my menu!

So I smeared some cheapo store brand peanut butter on a couple of the pieces, cut them into small cubes, and put them out on the deck to see if the wilds might like a change from peanuts in the shell and the sunflower seds they collect under the bird feeder.

OH MY!! I have a veritable orgy of lip smacking going on out there! I have noticed with Mister P that when he eats something that he REALLY loves, his ears wiggle, and the amount of wiggle is directly proportional to how yummy it is.

I am concerned that my wilds are going to lift off out there, their ears are wiggling so hard. Stale bread and cheap peanut butter - BIG HIT!

CritterMom, I'm trying that today, in fact, when I finish posting this.

Your description of Mister P is precious, how his little ears wiggle when he gets something tasty. That's so cute, I can see it in my mind's eye. I enjoy your writing. :)
