Chipmunks

Good Morning!

I just joined yesterday and look forward to learning a lot from this site. My house backs up to a 10 acre lot of dense woods so I am always feeding squirrels (many by hand) and really enjoy them.

I would like to get a couple of pet chipmunks but have had no luck in finding a breeder. I live in Ft. Lauderdale but would travel or have them shipped if need be.

Any breeders out there?

:Welcome we do have quite a few chipmunk members. You might want to go to Breed Specific and check out the thread for chipmunks, lots of good info there.

chippies are so cute!
there used to be a wild guy, this was a few years back, that came to the back door for food, along with a ton of squirrels of course. they're so fast and adorable. he eventually got a girlfriend and they had babies out back under the air conditioning unit. still kicking myself for not getting pics of them cause i haven't seen them since.
