I was petting my flier when i noticed an abnormal lump under the skin right under his earlobe. It didn't seem to bother him when i touched it, but im concerned and was wondering if anyone else has noticed something like this with their flier, or what it might be?

No idea...but I hope it's nothing serious. Do you have a vet of your flyer?
Best wishes for you and him. :grouphug

Keep an eye on it that it doesn't grow or open up into an abcess. That would require antibiotics ASAP. Check the skin thoroughly to see if it is an insect bite -- any redness or roughness to the skin under the fur?

Is the bump hard or soft?

Is it moveable at all?

Have you checked both sides (other ear) also to rule out a possible lymph problem?

It could be something like an epidermoid/sebaceous cyst.

thanks for the responses! well it a hard, movable lump near the earlobe. Its not irritated and it doesn't hurt him. Only on one side of his head. I have a vet, so i will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get any bigger.I hope it's nothing serious!!!
