I fount a cedar tree out in the woods and it has berries on it. Chip my flyer likes shredding the bark off cedar limbs to add to his nest but i never gave him berries. Does anyone know if they are safe for flying squirrels?

I am a parrot person, and our safe/not safe bible is a site called Gillian's Help Desk: http://www.exoticbird.com/gillian/
The following is her bit about cedar: http://www.exoticbird.com/gillian/redcedar.html
Birds are usually more sensitive to toxins than mammals, but I would avoid them - so many safe things to feed out there that you can be sure of...
