Loves Squirrels

We found a baby squirrel a week ago Tuesday. She just opened her eyes yesterday. I have been feeding her the puppy formula that I read about on this board. I am wondering if since she has just opened her eyes if I should introduce her to some new foods. We feed her 3cc's every four hours. She weighs approximately 80 grams. At least if she would hold still on the scale I could get a more accurate weight. Any advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.:)

Hi there! I would up the cc's you are giving to 4 per feeding if the squirrel is weighing in at 80 grams...take the last number off the weight in grams and divide the number left in half...that's the cc's you should feed each time.
You should start offering solids now...lots of people here use peeled grapes, peeled apples (small 1/2" chunks), chunks of avacado...mine liked watermelon right off the bat, but you can't give them very much at all or it will cause bad poops.
Here is a link to some other foods you can offer in the coming weeks...
