Dragging behind on floor [Archive]

Elissa has been dragging her butt on the floor lately. Is this normal or should i be concerned? Could she have worms? If so how cause she doesnt go outside at all.

Dragging her butt like a dog, or crawling on her belly? Both could be marking! Squirrels (females) mark (how old is your girl) by doing both. Breeding starts December-February. Usually estrus lasts only eight hours and is marked by an enlarged vulva. Maybe she is early in the calendar because she is captive! Hope this helps.

elissa is 1 year old. She just had a heat in august her first one. Can she get worms from pecans?

It's very doubtful that she would get worms from pecans unless the pecans were contaminated by another animal.
