spice shares a room with a bun bun and she never eats hay/grass of any kind..I doubt it would hurt her though...kinda dry and bland for my taste!:D
:wave123 you have been on my mind alot...read you had to buy heaters...and I am sitting here hotter than hot itself! Hope ou and kids are good...kiss those babies for Tampa...:Love_Icon
hi: i don't think they'd eat grass/hay because they're not herbivores... i know that rabbits have a special stomach to digest the grass - and cows, horses probably ... and maybe guinea pigs... so i'd guess it's to do with the stomachs ability to break it down.
And yet, i've seen gs1 eat hibiscus leaves and i know they eat dandelion - not mine - but some squirrels do.
Maybe the difference between grasses and dandelion, hibiscus etc... is the digestibility.
?
I really don't know.
I know that although wheatgrass juice is really good for humans but we can't eat the grass - that's what i was told, not that I know why? ... Is it cause it's harmful - i doubt it - or is it because we can't extract the goodness out of it?
:D

Thanks guys..I was just curious that's all...
Jackie..I'm doin ok with the cold we have here..It's 43 right now and will dip into the 30's again tonight..The 2 heaters are doing a great job..They maintain a house temp of 75..Actually, I had to turn the thrermostat down on the heaters because it went up to 78 degrees...
I use one in the livingroom and one in the playroom..My house is completely opened inside and small, so they do the job..I put in an application with my county's weatherization program for low income..A few years ago they put in a new water heater, refrigerator and blow in insulation for the intire house. plus covered pipes, etc..it cost me nothing...The application though takes about 2 months to process, so it may not be till the new year that it gets taken care of...:sanp3 If needed, i'll buy more heaters...
