The best way to get him to eat his veggies is not to give him those "yummies" he's become accustomed to. I've yet to see a squirrel starve itself to death, but I HAVE seen squirrel owners worry themselves to death wondering if their babies were starving themselves to death :D

Have you tried a mix of leafy greens? Lucky loved the "spring mix" you buy in the bag...she also loved carrots, grapes(and the grape vines) broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes,.....
She loves the homemade bread I make in the bread machine! and she still does..I cut her a piece when she comes by the house for peanuts.....lol

same. his two favorites.

he will also eat lettuces and carrots a little bit, but he takes avocado over anything (except almonds, but we give them to him sparingly).

read HHBs diet, carrots are high in Vit A and should be given very sparcely, no more than a tbsp a month, and can induce toxicity
avocado is high in fat, im sure you know skins and pits are toxic....

try putting veggies out in the morning when he is hungriest and give him his blocks in a little while so he has no choice:devil , maybe he will get used to them
