I have noticed after my little ones pee pee they squat their butt sort of a dragging motion....Is this normal? They are now using the potty on the paper in the cage instead of in their sleep e sack:multi

Squirrels young and old scoot their behinds along on different surfaces, and not just after urinating. Although I don't know this for certain, my assumption is that when they do it after peeing, it helps to remove moisture and is a form of scent marking.

I just put some newspaper down in their cage and they started going to it. I bought a corner litterbox I'm going to try that in a week or so :)

This may or may not have helped but one thing we did was stimulate them on a napkin then we put the napkins on the newspaper after they started going by themselves we didn't have to do that again....Just like a puppy :)
