Hey!
My little cheeto is around 7-8 weeks old. He was NOT hand raised and was a rescue. Does anyone have any pointers to help him from being so jumpy and jittery when anyone makes sudden movements? Im assuming it will just take take for him to get used to the adjustment...but some procedures or tips would be very helpful and much appriciated!!
Thank you all, Brandon

Are you intending on releasing him? Anyway, it's a squirrel's nature to be hyper-attentive and "jumpy and jittery." It's one of the ways they survive in the wild.

Improper diet can create anxiety..i urge you to put these babies on Esbilac...they must have proper nutrition!
The sibs should be together also!
Thank you for trying to help him, but unless you get him on a good healthy diet, you will have more issues than a over jumpy sq!
He should be on formula, if he isn't.... a jump can cause him to break bones, without calcium things can go upside down very fast, we have seen too many sqs die lately due to improper diet.
I am not sure what kind of formula you are giving, but it should be Esbilac, and no more peanut butter please!
