Hi all, we have a question regarding our baby foxer Frank. When do we stop helping him go to the bathroom and what is the process of stopping? He's begun eating rodent block and his poop is getting darker, but he's still getting formula three times a day. He poops and pees independently in his box, but he still goes a LOT when we stimulate him after every formula feeding.

Can someone explain the process of getting him to totally independent bathrooming?

Thanks.

Oy! He opened his eyes two weeks ago and we're still doing it 3-4 times a day. Should we just stop cold turkey? He won't get stopped up???

Oregonian you can put him down on a piece of newspaper or paper towel after you feed him and let him pee on that -- usually they will, right after eating, at this age. It will keep his container or cage much neater. :thumbsup
