What is chuffing? Also, what does it sound like?:dono

It's a kind of squirrel growl, and it sounds like a hoarse . . . U-UH! U-UH! Often with head upturned and hind feet stamping.

When a bear does it, it sounds more like a steady repetitive grunting.
