I feel silly asking this. Peanut is about 4 months old now. All along we've thought (he) was a he. He doesn't have any testicles yet. Does that mean he is a (she)? If not when can I expect him to get them, and what kind of behavior am I in for when he starts getting randy?
Thanks

Sometimes you don't see testicles until the squirrel is 17-18 wks old. But, more importantly, can you post a pic of the important parts so we can tell you for sure? :D Or, if not, describe exactly where you see an organ: on the abdomen where his belly button would be, or down between the legs?

Theres an organ where his belly button would be. So I guess "he" is a he. Thanks

My little boy doesn't have testicles either, but we are pretty sure he has
down syndrome and that could be the reason. He is going to be two in December, so I am just curious to find out if there is something wrong with your squirrel?:dono
:D well, now I know too. :D

I don't think there is anything wrong with Peanut. How do you find out if he has down syndrome?
