Not sure if Baby is sick or not, ??

I found 2 baby Squirrels about 10 days ago, a Boy and a Girl.
They are about 5-1/2 weeks old. They just opened there eye's last Thursday.
They are both doing fine, bit the Males Penis is Red and Swollen. it doesn't look normal. I think the female may have been suckling on him. it started about 4 days ago and it looks like it is getting worse. I just separated them to seperate boxes. The little Boy (Darian) seems fine, he is actually more active than his sister (Serena), but I'm worried he might get sick.
I raised a Baby Girl about 1-1/2 years ago so this is my 1st boy.
Is this normal or is something wrong with him.
I took some pictures and I'll see if I can upload them.

Make sure a scab doesn't form over the end of his penis and stop him from being able to pee. You can soak the tip with warm water & tissue until the scab falls off, if this happens. To stop the sister from sucking you should feed a little more often. If you are doing every four hours, try three....after a day you should see that the sucking has stopped. :thumbsup

There doesn't seem to be any scab or sores.
I did just start going to 4 hr feeding times about the same time that this started.

It happened again. I put them together yesterday after I feed them so they can play. and she got him again. and now it looks like it is scabbing. I soaked him in warm water last night and he did pee after feeding, but I haven't seen him pee today. how long does it take to heal?

They heal very quickly, but unfortunately you've got a little sucker there in the sister. If feeding more frequently doesn't stop her, you'll have to either separate them or get a baby sock for brother. I've never done this but some rehabbers do, with great success. Make two holes for his legs and he should be all set. :D
