First of all, what are you feeding him? If not Esbilac PUPPY powder formula, or Fox Valley for squirrels, you should get him on one of those ASAP. Secondly, white poop is almost always, always, always from OVER feeding. Weigh the baby, then try to keep each feeding at 5-7% of body weight. It's easy to figure out: if the baby weighs 20 grams, you drop the last number (0) and feed 1/2 of the first number in ml's or cc's. Therefore a 20-gram baby should take 1/2ml at each feeding.
And third, :Welcome:Welcome:Welcome to the Squirrel Board! We are glad you found us, and hope we can get your baby's poops back to normal!

Keep him very warm (a heating pad under HALF his container), make sure he is hydrated (fluids in between feedings if necessary), and follow the 5 percent rule for feedings.
It takes time for their systems to adjust to formula. You can also add a teaspoon of plain yogurt.
But the most important thing is to stop feeding the KMR and get Esbilac.
How's he doing now?

White poop means they are not digesting their formula. This could be from many reasons, and it's not a good sign.
First, they need to be kept very warm at all times. They cannot digest food if they're not warm.
Second, they need to be rehydrated. Most orphans are dehydrated when you find them. They can't digest their formula if they're dehydrated.
Third, they need the proper formula. KMR has too much protein and not enough fat. I think it will be fine to get the Esbilac in the morning. In the meantime, try to figure out if he is warm enough, and if he is hydrated.
Finally, whatever formula is used, it takes time for them to adjust. Usually the formula is diluted at first, then gradually taken to full strength. Overfeeding, as IR mentioned, can also overload their system so they can't digest.
So you see, the inability to digest his formula could come from several reasons. Start with the first thing, warmth, and work from there.

Someone has too many pinkies and is staying up too late IR. For the 5-7% rule if you have a 20 gram squirrel you drop the zero and divide the first number (2) in half, so your squirrel should get 1 cc per feeding not 1/2 cc.
I have only ever had one baby get white poop and it was because he was fed while he was cold. Do you have the baby on a heating pad? Is he warm to the touch? Pinkies are VERY temperature sensitive and will have digestive issues if too cold.

Glad he made it through the night. :sanp3 you are having a baby in 3 weeks? Baby squirrels take a lot of time and energy, are you sure you can handle that on top of a newborn human baby? You may want to consider finding someone to take on the squirrel baby so you can focus on your newborn.
