I'd like to try and find a few...where should I look?

Strange question to me as a rehabber, because orphans find me and not the other way around. Every season I pray there will be none, so they have all stayed safe in their nests where they belong.
Baby squirrels generally fall from the nest when they are orphaned -- meaning the mother does not return and the babies wander out in search of her. By the time this happens, the babies are often dehydrated and possibly injured from the fall itself. It takes training, experience, and knowledge to save these little ones - not something done easily, like taking a stray kitten into your home.
May I ask why you want to find them? Are you interested in rehabbing squirrels? We can ALWAYS use the help.

If you want to help wild babies, I suggesst finding a wildlife center near you and volunteering. They can always use the help and it is sooooooooooooooo fun and rewarding. After you have been trained, they may even let you take babies home to rehab and release.

The center is the place to start. Even if you can only go once a week or once a month, you will be able to be shown the ropes and hopefully get to take babies home after a few months.
