Will crows attack babies that are in a nest? I know that one of the local grey's has had a litter, but I'm not sure which tree she lives in. Lately I've been seeing the crows up in the trees and I'm a bit worried about the mama and her little ones. Is there anything I can do to discurage the crows from comming around?

Thanks!

Crows will definitely attack baby squirrels. The only thing you can do is try to shoo them away whenever you don't see the mamma squirrel there to defend them. As for repelling crows, good luck! You can shoo them for a short time, but they'll always try to come back until the babies are big enough to scare them.

Many of the little ones we get in are from crows attacking. If anyone has found a way to get the crows away it needs to be patented. Scarecrows certainly don't work, I've seen crows perching all over them.
