On another forum I post on, a man in Au Gres, Michigan found a litter of skunks, his dog killed the mother. The babies are about a week old.
He's contacted rehabbers in the area who all will not work with skunks. (The links here will not work with them either)
If he has to he will care for and release but worried about getting in trouble.
Can someone give me a link or name or number of someone who may help him .
The babies are taking formula from eye droppers and releaving themselves.

The baby 'pinkie' skunks are adorable! I've never seen them this young!
Sadly, it is illegal to rehab skunks in Michigan, so the likelihood of finding a rehabber that will take the risk is pretty low. They are considered a rabies-vector species, and 'nuisance' animal. Our Department of Natural Resources is cracking down after a recent case of CWD in whitetail deer. Keep trying, though! I think it would be great to pull them through from this tiny size!
