Donations needed for the pox relief fund

Back in February, we started a Pox Fund for the pox-afflicted squirrels in several areas of Florida. The money was used for gas to transport the squirrels to rehabbers, and for medicine to treat them. The funds have all been spent, but there are still desperately ill squirrels who need meds. http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15897

The pox squirrels and our members who are caring for them need our help immediately. All of your donations will go toward medicines. The pox-afflicted squirrels are no longer being trapped and transported. They are being treated on site with better results because the squirrels are not being stressed by trapping, transportation and a new envionment.

Any contributions to the pox fund would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me by private message, and I will give you my paypal information or my home address. I will see that every penny gets to where it is needed.

Seriously -- we are seeing outbreaks of pox in other areas, not just the Keys or even Florida, and are trying to make sure all needy squirrels can get the meds and immune support we believe they need to fight this.
Meds, etc have been purchased and in some cases whisked off to where they are needed :tomcat --- but this is expensive. Those that have the burden of caring for sick animals should not also bear the financial burden if we can help them out. This is an extraordinary situation and not standard squirrel-care.

ANY amount that you can help out with will be greatly appreciated and will be used specifically for this cause. If we each share a little, it will pay for the meds, etc. that have been and will be purchased. Please "pay" (:D ) Pam's Paypal a visit so it's not so lonely, and we can help the squirrels in need. :Love_Icon
