After reading alot of posts, I went to Wal-Mart last night and bought a bunch of food for my baby. He's approx. 8-10 weeks old. I offered him a small variety of veggies and he absolutely tore then up last night!! What I need help and advice with is how do I rotate these and different items to create a balanced diet between proteins, calcium/phos ratio, vits and minerals? I'm not sure how to be a good dietician!! Also should I order wild nuts (acorns, etc)? Ifsome one can help give me a menu to plan I sure would be greatful!! Wal-Mart seems limited some-what or I just need to be educated!!

Thanks, FranP

These are the items I got last night:
Fresh Express 50/50 mix of Romaine(green&red)/spinach leaves
fresh broccoli floret
fresh green beans
fresh mushroom caps
frozen cauliflower
frozen brussels sprouts
plain yogurt
stage 3 butternut squash baby food jar
stage 3 sweet potato baby food jar

fruits:
red delicious apple
clementines
banana

rodent blocks( until my order of HHB comes in)
bag of mixed nuts(almonds, sunflower seeds, I can't remember what else?

cuttle bone

Looks like you got a pretty good variety for your little one.
In the nutrition section, there is a sticky about ca/phos ratios in foods.

I've never tried it. I usually just buy a single serve Yoplait Original (he likes the berry flavors) container for Teddy & give him a capful (16 oz pop bottle cap) each night. He usually goes through it before or very near when it expires.
