Are june bugs safe to give to my little JuJu Bug? He sure enjoyed trying to catch em!

Blessed, or perhaps cursed with a high metabolism, squirrels preferentially select nuts and seeds that are high in protein and fat. Squirrels can’t digest cellulose, so they can’t graze like rabbits or deer. Early spring is the hardest time of year because stored nuts have been eaten, rotted or sprouting, but new sources are not yet available. While they appear to be vegetarian, squirrels adore a nice crunchy June bug or cricket.

Mine love June Bugs, moths, grasshoppers.....whatever I can catch for them.

:thumbsup This is really good to know, because we have a lot of June Bugs that show up way before it is June. :rotfl :rotfl

I think...not sure, that some of those white fat ugly grub worms that we feed to our sqs are beetles/ June buds:thinking
They love the grubs:multi
