I wasn't sure were to post the new pictures of Whitey so hopefully I put them in the right spot, if not hopefully someone will move them for me. He is now 132 grams (came in as a 14 gram pinky) Hope you all enjoy his pictures. I tried to get them as small as possible...... Sorry if they are too big.

Thank you for all of your comments..... He really has come along way if you check out the pictures I posted before on the diarrhea you can see what he looked like at 14 grams.... He really is the most beautiful little man in the world.... Now that he has opened his eyes he needs a name...... Any thoughts........?????? So far we have Oscar, Henry, Hamilton & Stuart..... any others?????

How special. I've always wanted to go to the White Squirrel Festival in Brevard, N.C. Apparently the town is full of them.If anyone is nearby, it's usually held around Memorial Day.

Though he is just a baby, one day he will be full grown, and he will need an appropriate name, a special one! I favor that of a character from the Harry Potter stories, "Albus Dumbledore", the good wizard. The root of this name is taken from "Alba",meaning white. Like Tomo's 'brown boys' names, "Dr. Tumbelino Hyde", and "Nickolas Jeckle", it denotes a sense of uniqueness, seeing he is not the norm!

I recall that my step daughter has deep blue eyes that appear to be dark brown from a distance. In the photos your Sugar Baby appears to have dark brown-black eyes, but then there is a hint of blue on the edge. So tell us, which is it, Dark brown-black, or dark blue?

His eyes are dark brown, really they look black because he is so white...... His nails are clear/white. He is a true WHITEY his sister was a gray squirrel and the people that rescued him let me know that in their neighborhood they have about as many white squirrels as they do gray. They said that his mother was white, she came back for one but never got Whitey or his sister.... LUCKY for me.....

Sorry its been alittle crazy here between three boys (husband makes 4), parents in town, my own dogs, cats, and children here all day, then intake around here has been crazy....... I have now 15 babies that I am feeding, not including "Whitie" and the other two inside, along with 8 outiside in a large releasable cage, 6 in cages being taken in at night and out for the day and 4 flyers outside...... On top of the 6 possy babies, I was tubing, and the one other single possy I just got this weekend along with the other 2 that came in today and ........ BABY BUNNIES are here like crazy....... I had a litter of 4 that were pink that had been attacked by a dog and they didn't make it but the other 3 I had did (they were released) and now I have a single (cat attack that was de-gloved over its back leg) and a nest of 4 eyes closed........ It doesn't leave me much time for the computer....... Whitie is GREAT and it now finally off the bottle. He is now about 12 week old baby, I got him in as a 14 grams pinky on 2-8-09, with lots of trauma to his head and body..... Sorry I don't have any real new pitures of him, hopefully things will slow down in the next week so and I can take some........ Thanks again for all of your support...
