Good site for prevention - really cute photos. But they mention human hair as a deterrent? If the squirrels around Tomo's got a hold of my hair, they'd be lining their dreys with it cause it would remind them of mom and make them feel safe! :rotfl

I think he actually says that things like human hair, mothballs and the like are NOT really effective deterrents. Well we all know that! My babies always love my hair :D.

Hey that house looks familiar :D I will have to read over that article but so far we just let them have the attic, the only damage they do is to the wood, no wire chewing as of yet, well our security system but that is why I have Shep :D

It is kind of cute to see their little heads pop out and look at you, Squerly is going to kill me :shakehead

It's not their fault that the hurricanes keep tearing down the trees and they have no where to build their nests, it is our duty to supply them with attic housing :tilt

Thanks IR for this site:thankyou I bookmarked it for the future. Every so often I get asked this question. I have never heard of that trap that lets them out but not back in:thumbsup I have always advised not to do anything if baby season...or I am like MS...let them have the attic:D Though I wouldn't want them to chew wires.........:shakehead
So I guess the best is to wait until all the babies are gone, search the attic well then board up the holes:tilt
