Need help...

I recently had my baby girl and she was the love of my life. Unfortuneately, I was out of town and my mother gave me the call that she had passed away. I have been trying to find another baby to rescue, but havent had any luck. I wanted to see if there was any where I could adopt one or even buy one. I want another baby to take care of.

I had found her on my college campus and the men that were doing the lawn care were about to run over her, so I snatched her up and took her home. I already had the proper care materials, because I had rescued one before, but let him go. I couldnt get rid of my baby girl though. She was by my side where ever I went. She was about 3 weeks old when I found her and I kept her for about 4 months until she passed away. I would be so glad to have another one to care for and yes I have plenty of time for one still.

If she was ~4 months old and she passed for ' no reason' it could have been b/c of improper diet, metabolic bone disease. This is a serious problem in captive squirrels. Someone will be on here shortly to post the link on the dangers of MBD due to poor diet. If you ever rescue another baby, it's important you know how to provide the right diet in the future.
