One of our new members sent me this message. She needs help with telling if her little flyer is female or male. I have no idea how to tell, but I know someone on here will. I told her I'd post her question, I left the background info in so that she wouldn't have to re-type it.
Hello, I have a baby flying squirrel that a friend brought to me. He was working at a park and had to cut a tree down and a nest of flying squirrels were in the tree. It killed the mommie and one of the babies. I had two of them and one died in the first 2 days. It must have been hurt from the fall. The one I have is very healthy I do get up all nite and feed my baby. Her? eyes just opened wed. I thought it was a female but now I don't know for sure. Can you help me with telling the sex. I have been looking up and reading everything I can find. I love my baby and I want to do everything I can to make her healthy and happy.
