bread or nuts - for wild squirrels

hi all;

i am in the process of ordering 4skwerlz blocks it could take a while with customs...

but meanwhile i need to know - organice whole wheat vs nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, raw pumpkin seeds)?

I don't want to upset their calcium levels.

They come twice per day and they want what they want ....:D

also they're cold!!! so they need good nutrition; they're now dealing with minus 9 c. (15 F.) ....

(it was so cold yesterday that gs1 didn't want to go back outside again :D )

Pumpkin seeds are good. On really cold days, or with skinny squirrels that need a little extra, I used to make little whole wheat peanut butter sandwiches for them. Of course the blocks are the healthiest. Once I started making the blocks, I would give them 1 each.
