Jane is now with Jackie. She is on her way to getting the veterinary care that she so desperately needs. http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14110

Jackie needs our help with Jane's vet care. If you would like to make a donation, please PM me and I will send you my paypal information. If you would rather make a donation by cash or check, I will gladly give you my address.

Philomycus needs our help, too. Her squirrel Rocky is also under the care of a veterinarian. http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14222

Jackie and Alana are both great people. They never turn down a squirrel in need. They both are willing to go the extra mile to pick-up an injured or orphaned squirrel and see that he/she gets the care it needs... even when they are short on funds. Let's see if we can now help them.

Thank you all so much for all you do to help the TSB squirrels. TSB ROCKS!

:thankyou
Sorry this is so late coming...but Thank you all so much! Jane is recovering from what looks like a severe fall! When I first picked her up she was still very sore and in pain. Anne had done a great job with her...thank you Anne and Chas! A quick vet trip for a once over, antibiotics and pain meds.
She is now slowly recovering. We found the inside of her mouth black and blue and her face and mouth were very swollen. She has since healed enough to eat solids. She is not as sore from the fall either. She has the mornings to roam and stretch. She is slowly able to climb more and gaining speed and curiosity daily. I am hoping that with time she will have a full recovery and be released. I had originally thought she would heal faster, but I understand it was a very tall tree that she may have fallen from, over two stories. Ouch!
She is doing better, but recovery looks to be slow!
It took her a few weeks before she would climb up or on anything!
Thanks to all her special friends!:grouphug :thankyou
I will post new pics in her thread!
Thanks again...and God Bless You All!

Jackie, please don't be hesitant to let us know if Jane's vet bills begin mounting again....especially since the process is slower than expected, you may require many more visits. Thanks for the wonderful job and love you're giving sweet Jane:grouphug
