I went out picking flowers today for my neighborhood squirrels... can they have any of the following:

Wanted to ask before offering - thanks for help!

Hi Guys, :wave123
MellonSquirrel is my 13 yr old son and I told him he could use the internet ONLY to view and post PERTINENT comments on TSB :D
He LOVES Digi and Chipper and helps me with them every day. He wanted to feed the local squirrellies and picked flowers all day, so I told him to post and ask if they were safe......... thanks, Gamma's Baby for the links, he found that Bottlebrush was safe, so maybe we'll even give Dig and Chip some, too.
Anyway, this should suffice for his introduction:thumbsup

Bottlebrush flowers are fine. My wilds eat zillions of them and I give them to my pet squirrel. GENERALLY, if something is nontoxic to people it is okay for squirrels, but be very, very careful. It is safest to feed only those items that other people have fed their pet squirrels.
