Are chrysanthamums toxic for squirrlies?

Can't find any info on the most populat toxic plant lists...:thankyou

NO....I would not let them eat.
They can eat mums though...definitely in season at this time :D

Mum is the shortened name of chrysanthemum. And I saw that chrysanthemum is listed as a safe food on that pet squirrel diet list. Gave her 2 flowers, but she seems more content eating the acorns we brought in.

Then they are safe regardless of what that website I gave you said.
People can eat mums too :D

So yes let your squirrels have the mums or the longer version chrysanthemums :jump

They make tea from them in Asia, and when my mom was a little girl her family had a Japanese man who worked for them, and he used to eat them straight off the stem, to her amusement and delight.
