View Full Version : How to give a bath
Well i recently found a baby gray squirrel and took him in. hes fine except for the bugs crawling all over him. Whats the best way and what do i use to give him a bath.

Plain old blue Dawn dish soap is good. Use nice warm water and dry him very thoroughly. Keep him wrapped up in a warm, dry towel until he is completely dry. Can you tell us what the bugs look like? Can you take a picture and post it? This will give us some idea of what condition he is in.

I worship original blue Dawn. If they are fleas the dawn will kill them.

The red things sound like mites....I'm not sure if dawn will kill them, if not they have to be picked off...if mites are present most likely so are eggs which are are so tiny they can't be seen with the naked eye. If dawn doesn't kill the eggs just keep a eye out for any reinfestation as the eggs hatch.
