hello everyone! I'm new to this and to squirrels. the thing is that i found one in my basement, so i put him in a box went to take it outside but my dog barked and scared it,so it darted out and on to my chest craweld up my shrit and went on the back of my neck under my hair. (i have really long hair)
so it was on me for about an hour,so i went around back fineally got it off, came back in the house an hour went by I went to check on it he was still there, so I sat down beside him well he came to me and tried to climb inbetween my shirt and sweatshirt he let me pick him up and pet his head so i brought him in and fixed up a tank for him (3 inches of pine bedding an old t-shirt and a solution of 1quart water 1tsp salt & 3tsp sugar just until i get a cage for him). any info will be great! thanks for listing

I would take the pine shavings out. Just use some soft cloth in the bottom of your tank. (No Towels, or ravelled material)Squirrels like alot of blankets to cuddle in.
About how old is your squirrel?

Do you have a heating pad that does not have an automatic shut off to put under half of his container to keep him warm. If you do be sure you put it on low. Do you have a pet store to get him Esbilac formula?
