I weighed Ike again today and he weighs 7.9 oz or 223.96 grams..

What's the "conversion" you guys use to figure out how many cc's they should be getting compared to their weight?

For a young baby taking 4 or more feedings per day It's the 5% rule - ie 5% of bady weight in grams = cc per feeding or a 100 gram baby would eat 5cc each feeding. As babies get older they can hold more. WHen I drop to 3 feedings a day I go to 6% and at 2 feedings to 7%. But never more than 7%. At this point the babies are weaning and should be eating solids, too.
