new house

Sandy is about 9 weeks old and she has been sleeping under a shirt on the heating pad. We put a new house in her cage and took the heating pad. She will not sleep in the house, she slept on the floor of her cage under some leaves. Any tricks to get her to use her new house?

Squirrels are funny and do not like change. Put as much of all her old stuff in her new home as possible. That way she will recognize the smells and feel more at home.

Thanks, we put her shirt and a few nuts in the house. After she fell asleep last night I put her in but this morning she was on the floor under some leaves......I'll keep trying maybe she will learn to like it
