Milk Burn?

After Ike gets his formula he's usually got a little bit of sloppy mess under his chin and under his arms..

I'm pretty good about getting most of it off with a warm washclothe... but I've noticed where his formula usually is his hair seems thinner almost as to be falling out or "balding"?

Will his hair eventually grow back? I think I'm going back to using nipples on the syringe, he just likes to 'chew' the nipple instead of sucking on it...

I's a little pink... but not red.

Is there an easier way to clean it off? He gets a little voicy when I try to use a warm damp cloth..

For some strange reason, Al never minded washing his face after meals. He would get real messy, and then he would sit on my shoulder, or hang on my shirt while I washed my hands, and then I would hold him actually put his paws under running water, and rub a wet hand over his face.
