Update on swollen eye!!

Hi all my baby boy had a swollen eye,i recieved advice to put warm compresses on the eye well FINALLy last night eye started oozing (white) and i just continued with wiping the eye with warm cloth ( eyes are still closed by the way) I also applied some terrimiacin. Well this morning i took him out and eye was still pretty puffy but he was getting excited about eating :crazy and push his head up agianst my finger and OH MY not to be to graphic but needless to say his eye is no longer puffy i just continued to get as much out by wiping the eye ,his eye is not no longer puffed :wahoo i am worried though about his little eye i geuss we will see when they decide to finally open.

teramyacin (sp?) is what my vet gave me for a squirrel with a severely ulcerated cornea last spring....it's great stuff. You may also want to flush the eye a couple of times a day with plain saline solution, the kind sold for contact lens wearers. :thumbsup
