Butt problems....

Baby2(milk fed baby),AKA Sleepy is doing well, eating and peeing like a little champ. I noticed yesterday that his little pooper is swollen and maybe has a little puss coming from it. After I feed him tonight he started to poop and only one little nugget came out. Looked like he was trying to do more but it wouldn't come out. Any ideas what is causing this? He has been on full strength Esbilac for about a week now.

Sammy did this when he was a baby. The vet/rehabber said he was dehydrated and to give him LR between feedings. It worked.

Can I give him Pedilite. I have no LR to give.

I think that's fine as long as it's in between and not mixed with the formula.
