My wife and I rescued this little one from our Cat almost three weeks ago. She has just opened her eyes and is charming the socks off of us. We have been in contact with a rehabilitator here in the area and has been to a vet for the injury from the cat, (1 stitch and a week of flush and pack). The vet didn't kow her species and I was hoping that someone here could tell me. Also, is this the best position to feed her in?
Thanks

:Welcome to you and your adorable girl!!

Her tummy looks a tiny bit swollen - after you feed her, make sure her tummy is still soft, like a half-full water balloon. It should not be firm or distended. :thumbsup

Thank You All,
My Grand daughter named her Lisa so I guess we will go with that. We have been feeding her Esbilac for puppies, (pre-mixed) with a quarter heavy whipping cream mixed in. I was using a large syringe with a curved tip and a pencil eraser on the tip. The eraser restricted the milk flow and gave her something to take into her mouth. It worked pretty well but for some reason the eraser seems to be less desirable now. It might be too big for her new teeth, (although my fingers seem to fit just fine). I still use the syringe but without the eraser. I put some rodent nuggets in her cage to chew on. She seems to be doing so. Thanks again.
