I have a squirrel and it is supposed to have a urinary tract infection.
Is there anything I can give him before I can make it to the vet

I have heard that a small amount of diluted cranberry juice can help. For any type of infection, though, he really needs to get antibiotics from a vet,.

Who told you that the squirrel had a UTI? If it was a vet, they should have given you meds and advice then, if a rehabber, they should have given advice, if it was just 'someone', what makes them think so? If you have any suspicion that he has any type of infection, get him to the vet ASAP - you can only do so much with home remedies. The cranberry juice should help some, but for the squirrel's sake, get something from the vet that will work faster, and will get the problem under control immediately.

I know you are concerned about him, just by the fact that you bothered to look up the information to come here and post your question. You didn't say what kind of squirrel it is, or how old it is, so it would be very difficult for anyone to make any specific suggestions.

Good luck with him, and keep us posted.
