Okay I was diluting my baby girl fuzzers liquid esbilac with water and she wasn't pooping. I took everyones advice and put her on full strength and now she has diarrhea! What is wrong? Do you think it's just the change? Maybe it will run it's course? Help!
Same info as other thread 5 weeks old, had her since Sunday, pooped tiny bit Tuesday night, now has diarrhea...

When Fallen made the transition to formula he too had yellow diarrhea for a couple of days.
Let's see what a rehabber says.

:) I'm not a rehabber but thought I'd make a suggestion anyway -- if a rehabber comes on and suggests something else, please follow the rehabber's advice!
Going directly from half-strength to full might have been too much for her system to adjust to. Usually there is a more gradual transition.
Try going back to half and half (1:1) for ONE feeding. Then, instead of an equal part water, do 2/3 part water (approx) for ONE feeding. Then about 1/3 part water for ONE feeding. Then full stength liquid. (My thinking is: You want to be gradual, but since she needs to get more nutrients, you don't want the transition too long.)
Also, many rehabbers add a little yogurt to the formula, to add probiotics which aids in digestion. The yogurt would be full-fat (not light) and one with active cultures. Plain or vanilla. Many prefer organic.
Do come back with "poop reports" :) so the rehabbers can see if she is getting on track or needs further assistance.
